This little shop wasn’t part of an elaborate business plan — it grew as naturally as the flowers and vegetables in my garden.

After nearly three years of living on our five-acre homestead, I had settled into a rhythm of slower, more intentional living. I was baking with sourdough, pouring beeswax candles, saving seeds from the garden, and filling my pantry with things I had grown — not for anyone else, but simply because it brought joy and purpose to my days. I was learning to make the most of what nature offers so freely.

Over time, I heard God’s gentle nudge to share what I had so naturally stumbled upon, and that a small seed turned to a fully fleshed idea.

From Her Kitchen Garden was born out of a quiet realization that others, too, might long for a life that’s more grounded, handmade, and real. This isn’t a business built to sell what people don’t need or to chase the latest trends. Rather, it’s about sharing the best things in life and offering something real, useful, and beautiful to others who are drawn to a simpler, more grounded way of living.

This isn’t about building a fortune. It’s about honoring the abundance already around us — and inviting others to slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover the joy of handmade, imperfect things.

Everything here is crafted in small batches with whole ingredients and great care, just as I use them in my own home. Whether you’re here for a beeswax candle, a packet of home grown seeds, or a bit of inspiration from the blog — I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

With gratitude,

Emilie
