What to expect
Step 1
Receive your seed packet at home.
Outdoors: Wait until all danger of frost has passed and soil is warm (at least 60°F / 15°C).
Indoors: Start seeds 2–4 weeks before your last frost date.

Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Sow seeds 1 inch deep, spaced about 3-4 feet apart. Water at the base of the plant to avoid mildew on leaves and keep soil constantly moist.
